Our convocation was held on a Monday afternoon, which was quite weird because our seniors had theirs in the morning. So I skipped lab on that day... but still went down to school earlier to take pictures with my parents.

Gifts from Pa (the flowers) and Mom (the graduation bear).
We reached around 12 noon that day, which was like, about 2 hours before the ceremony. But there were so many things to do, 2 hours was kinda short really. I likened graduation to weddings, because not only do you have to pay for your gowns, you have to go through a ceremony, stand around to take photos, and whoa, don't forget that studio shot too!
We quickly got down to business at the heritage center. I didn't even go look for a toilet to robe. I robed right beside our car. >>;

Let's start camwhoring.

More camwhoring.

AND more camwhoring.

It rained around convocation period, so I soiled my heels with mud when I took this photo...

My personal photographer (aka Pa) at work.

Someone was a graduate too! XD

My chibi-sized parents. XD

Trying to be the Statue of Liberty (No I'm not raping that bear...)
I only got with my college gang around 1pm? Because I was dragged away for lunch with my parents, and it was only after that that I could join them to robe (in Zihui's lab office no less! XD). I also ran around to take photos with my old lab and my new Boss... so it was around 2pm when we got to the auditorium lobby. Actually, the original programme wrote that we have to be seated by 2.10pm, but then again I guess they expected that everyone would be taking their on sweet time, so the ceremony commences at 3pm. What did we do in the meantime? Start camwhoring.

Agnes and I stuck in the chaos of registration.

The Uni gang.

We tried to do some silly poses too. Sorry, but my hand movements always turn out to be a blur...
Once we have registered we would have known our seat numbers. So all of us went into the auditorium to search for our seats. My seat was in the middle of a block and it was a tight squeeze in. Since there was still time to spare, a lot of people started going down to the front of the stage to take photos, so it was a tight squeeze out again to join my friends in front.

Transferring electrons to each other.

Watch out world!
After a while, they started to shoo us back to our seats (and it was tight squeeze back again) and all of us sat in silence(!) for about 6 minutes waiting for the procession to arrive. The procession came in to the tune of Pomp and Circumstance (like duh...) and all of us turned our heads to the giant screen on the stage to check out who was coming down the aisle. Our deans and a few of our Profs were in the procession that day.
The ceremony itself was relatively boring, but it had to be done. Our dean and guest both gave their speeches, and then the graduates started going on stage one by one to receive their folders. Naturally, the loudest applause were reserved for the first (coz he's the starting person) and last (oh yay finally!) graduate of the ceremony.

According to my parents, that was me. (Gotta be me, because my hand movements always turn out blur.)
After the ceremony itself, all of us got back to our school and took photos like crazy. :P

Sun Yang and me with a congregation of Hogwarts students behind. :P

Shuhui and I attempted the Haruhi pose but failed because we both don't watch Haruhi. XD

And it started drizzling halfway through.

I love all the paparazzi shots taken by Pa.

Agnes: There's like, food inside!!
Rest of us: Omg, like, no waiii~!

The reception's all about catching up with friends.

Choo choo train!

Us again.

Halfway through the reception, our school gave each of us a little graduation gift.

Agnes is a busy person. :P

We tried to be good Hogwarts students and summoned balloons out of another balloon.
The crowd started to thin around 6pm, and that was when we decided to pack up and leave too. Some of us would still be able to meet each other in school (because we're working/studying there), but there are some who we wouldn't be meeting that often now. Still, this is the point where we step out into society and make our mark, so good luck everyone!

Congrats to the Class of 2007!
Piisu.
